Hi, I am

Olivia !

I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with adults ages 18+ who are struggling with generalized anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, or perinatal mood and anxiety disorders that are causing a disruption to their daily lives. I received my Doctorate of Social work from Rutgers University and my Master in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My goal is create a solid therapeutic relationship by providing a supportive, direct, nonjudgmental environment with bits of humor mixed in when we can. Not only will you be able to talk about what's bothering you, but it's also important to know what to do about it! During our sessions, I will work with you to tailor our treatment to use a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support you.

How I Can Help...

With nearly twenty years of experience in the field, my goal is to not only will we talk about your concerns, but I will also teach you coping skills to manage stress, mental health issues, and overall life difficulties. I draw from many evidence-based cognitive orientations to help you to identify triggers, develop powerful tools to cope with the challenges of living, and harnessing your inner resources, all while holding space for you to experience meaning, joy, and a sense of stability in your life.

I have completed training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have seen the dramatic improvements in OCD symptoms with both modalities. Additonally, I have received training from PostPartum Support International to address Perinatal anxiety and mood disorders. I also provide Cognitive Processing Therapy, an evidence-based model that addresses PTSD treatment. Within all of these treatments, I often lean on Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help bring you back into alignment with your values and create space to accept all the emotions of your life.

When I am Not at Work....

You can find me making mixed media art pieces in my art room so don't be shocked if you catch some paint on my hands during our sessions. Additionally I enjoy spending time with family and friends and cuddling on the couch with my dogs
