Hi, I am
Mike!
If you have ever felt confused by how you feel, that you are not sure where your emotions are coming from, or what to do with them, you have come to the right place. I want to help you understand yourself deeply, then help you manage and resolve whatever disturbances you are feeling.
I graduated from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and I practice individual, couples, and family therapy. I have been providing therapy for 14 years, most recently at a community mental health clinic where I worked with teens and adults. The last 3 years at this clinic, I was a clinical supervisor for a team of both licensed and unlicensed therapists. Prior to this, I worked in a therapeutic classroom in a middle school, providing individual and group therapy. My internship and first placement out of grad school was with a residential treatment center for dually diagnosed adults (substance abuse disorders and mental health).
