Hi, I am

Kimberly!

I am a Certified School Counselor in the states of Georgia and Pennsylvania. I specialize in working with children, adolescents and teens in supporting their overall social-emotional growth, as well as helping people of all ages with pursuing their college and career goals. With over 10 years of experience as a classroom teacher, K-12 school-based therapist and a 6th - 12th grade college and career counselor, I am passionate about providing a space to help others develop life-long skills. I am also currently working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and look forward to expanding my work and helping even more people.

How I Can Help...

After completing both a Masters in Social Work and a Masters in School Counseling, I have worked with children, adolescents, teens and young adults on a variety of topics including: anxiety, depression, ODD, self-esteem, bullying, school success skills and college and career readiness. I am particularly passionate about social emotional learning and helping students excel academically by catering and focusing on the whole child. Additionally, I am an expert in assisting young adults with discovering and accomplishing their post-secondary college and career goals.
When working with others, I aim to provide a judgement free zone that clients find both nurturing and empathetic, as well as fun and energetic. I primarily use a Person Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in my work with others as a way to provide a space that helps empower the client work towards personal growth.

When I am Not at Work....

I am a wife of eight years and mom of four (three boys and one girl)! I love spending time with my family and friends. Family is one of the most important things in my life. In my spare time, I love to travel, try new restaurants, and meet new people. I also enjoy spending my time at church as spirituality is extremely important to me! One of my lifelong goals is to work internationally to help develop a more global perspective.
